sleeping in a 13th century tithe barn was the actual experience. Coffee in rooms was good. Decor top class. The owners of this historic building went all out to keep it authentic to its age, but with modern amenities. I loved the 19th century basin in bathroom. How often do you get the oppertunity to experience a 1000 year building like this?

The romantic room with the little balcony and claw foot bathtub. We had dinner one night here and the other night at Hotel Baudy. The house is very old and authentic. Walking distance to everything in this small rural town. Woke up to amazing bird song each morning. The town is full of the scent of heritage roses and wisteria at this time of year. Breakfast is included. It's continental with a hugh buttery croissants, fresh fruit, breads, jam, yogurt and some kind of egg each day. 99 percent of the tourists just come to see Monet's gardens and house so you have the whole little town to yourself in the evenings. There was no one but us in the little town church and cemetery where Monet is buried.

This was my 2nd visit to LaDime and I hope to come back again someday. It is a quiet and peaceful property with amazing spaces around to enjoy a glass of wine or just relax. The breakfast was delicious and the rooms are all very unique with a lovely twist of contemporary and old rural France. It is a short walk up the street to Monet’s garden and has easy access from the train station in Vernon followed by a short shuttle bus ride to Giverny. The hosts are friendly and accommodating and our stay was very lovely. Cannot recommend this place enough!

We booked this property specifically to visit Claude Monet’s house and gardens. It is in a perfect location in Giverny, so quiet and peaceful in a lane away from the main road where all the tourists gather daily. The property is set around a courtyard, it’s very old and charming and it has been furnished beautifully. Surrounding it are large well kept gardens to relax in and plenty of parking. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful, served by a cheerful lady with a smile! They have a terrace cafe where we served drinks when we arrived, we sat on the terrace overlooking the beautiful gardens. The bedroom was clean and comfortable, we slept well after walking many thousands of steps exploring the lovely village.

We arrived early and were able to check in. It is a beautiful French country home that the owner's take personal care of to make every detail look perfect! We arrived hungry and were directed to their lovely family run restaurant which overlooks the beautiful grounds and country house. The food was deliciously prepared in a charming patio dining area located on the Rue Claude Monet which is just a short walk to Monet's Gardens.

Spacious comfortable room in a beautiful historic building. Our room had windows on three sides which let in lots of light while the thick stone walls kept it cool in summer. Staff were all very nice and very hospitable. We had a lovely two night stay and were glad we picked this location for our visit to see Monet’s Gardens. Great breakfast in the morning with fresh fruit and yogurt.

This is a remarkable house with soul. A historical space, carefully and lovingly restored. Everything is thought out down to the smallest details — beautiful, comfortable, and inspiring. As a team of designers and architects, we especially appreciated the attention to detail and the unique atmosphere. Staying here became an important part of our journey. Thank you for this experience!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here - a little oasis in Giverny. Lovely room with opening windows and garden views, old wooden beams and good sized room. Due to flight cancellations we arrived later than planned but were still welcomed and shown to our room which we appreciated. A fan was provided, however the open windows were all we needed and as it was quiet this worked for us. A simple but good European style breakfast served in a beautiful dining area by friendly owner/host. Good on site parking and areas to sit outside in the garden which is also a lovely relaxed garden to be in. An easy walk to the Giverny Monet Garden which we really enjoyed. Getting there early (as we did) or late in the afternoon is the best option as the bus crowds do flock in around 10.00 and whilst we did the pond area first (to enjoy it when it was a bit quieter) there was a queue for the house area by the time we got there, but worth the wait to visit. After our visit we had lunch in the outdoor courtyard area at La Brasserie des Artistes after our garden visit and the food was good. We also visited the Musee des Impressionism next to the restaurant which was good and has rotating impressionist artists exhibitions throughout the year. The garden area was also really good to wander through after lunch and worth a visit. The hotel is close to the main part of the Giverny village and we had a good dinner at the Baudy hotel. The village is quiet in the evenings as it seemed that a lot of the visitors come during the day. If you are looking to eat out in Giverny, be mindful that some of the restaurants are closed on Tuesday/Wednesday. We would definitely recommend staying at La Dime du Giverny here again.

Beautiful character property in the heart of Giverny. Easy walk to Monet’s Garden. Village absolutely packed with visitors from all over. Lots of lovely restaurants. Our breakfast at La Dime was very tasty and set us up for the day.
